Erich Mayer elected member of The EuroIndia Centre. <<
Erich Mayer, Senior consultant with van Rooijen &
Partners, has been admitted as a new member of The EuroIndia Centre. His election was based on the co-option by Dr. Amal Mukhopadhyay, Member of the Centre´s Board. Erich´s membership perfectly contributes to our endeavour to intensify both our activities and our network in India, that has been started earlier this year with the establishment of our representation in New Delhi. The EuroIndia Centre was founded in 2001. It is the first private institution dedicated to foster of the Euro-Indian Partnership, especially in areas such as Business, Education, Science & Technology, IT, Biotech and Media. Actually having 66 members, the Centre has places of business in La Rochelle, France, and Mumbai, India, and is led by an Euro-Indian Board. Its first co-presidents have been Mr. Raymond Barre, Former Prime Minister of France (1978 to 1981), and Dr. Manmohan Singh, the present Prime Minister of India. Operational management is led by the Secretariat headed by Michel Sabatier. The EuroIndia Centre is funded by membership fees, sale of services, sponsorships and public subsidies.
Erich´s membership will further support the services of van Rooijen &
Partners to bring business to and from companies in the pharmaceutical and biotech area as well as in other industries in India.
